Hayman, Helene Aylon and Betty Beaumont.

Gordon is an "intermedia" visual artist/poet whose installations and poems are inspired by the bioregional-permaculture movement and the earth philosophy of Thomas Berry. Her works are known internationally. A 1990 solo show in Italy, "Il Sogno Del Tempo" featured 36 meditations that call awareness to our ecozoic age. In 1988 she received a Susan B. Anthony Award from the city of New York for living/dreaming in the WindowPeace at Sohozat. Since 1975, she has pioneered hand paper making in all forms, from sculpture, to pianos and drums, to artist bookworks. In her work, human control over nature and how to power one's empowerment are questioned. Developments of our global industrial and information civilization are exposed as she reinvents relations to the ancestors, first life forms, earth as organism, and to timelessness - most recently by bringing SuperSkyWoman forward to us.
