Travis Weller (viola). A collaboratively composed suite of miniatures with origins
in spontaneous improvisation. Moments of sound, movement and visuals hover in
a spare and open landscape.
THE SOUND OF PAPER Austin New Music Co-op/Electrons and Phonons (2009). “I have always loved the sound of various papers being moved and used. This piece combines an interest in amplifying and magnifying the smaller slower and often more subtle movements and sounds in our lives.”
