Genieß das Rauschen

Dietmar Hippler

The basis of this "Hörfilm" is contemporary European chamber music influenced by non-European music and onomatopoetic fantasy language. Inspirations for Hippler's compositions are diverse, like the "cut up" method in literature (as created by W.S. Borroughs) for Viaggio I-III or the incorporation of associative collage techniques of early experimental film makers like René Clair. Performers are Christina Dominik, oboe and English horn; Philip Melcher, cello; Martin Buschmann, steel drum and saxophone; Apolonia Lobo, didjeridu; and Hippler on trumpet, piano and voice.
